Before and after the EU referendum we were repeatedly assured the UK's place in the programme was not under threat, but the government was determined to leave. In our policy labs, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the official policy of our partner JEF Europe, one of Europe’s largest political organisations. Volunteers can contribute to or help facilitate discussions on European governance and policy by submitting policy to JEF’s Political Commissions or representing YEM at JEF’s Federal Committee. The Conference on the Future of Europe is a large-scale consultation by the EU to gather Europeans’ ideas and opinions on the direction of the continent. We’re working with the European Parliament Liaison Office in the UK to help young people in the UK take part, organising a series of events promoted by together.eu on Britain’s relationship with the EU and the common issues we face, like climate change, digital governance and attacks on the rights of minority groups.
